Terms of Service
Last updated: September 5, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BookSpur (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
BookSpur helps authors build a marketing profile for their book, generate a personalized marketing plan, and create marketing content using AI. Content generated by the Service is provided as a starting point and suggestion — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving anything before you publish or send it.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Plans and Billing
BookSpur offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan, billed monthly or annually through our payment processor. Pro subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or your payment processor’s customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to generate or distribute unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to exceed reasonable usage in a way that degrades the Service for other users.
6. Content Ownership
You own the books, marketing plans, and content you create using the Service. We claim no ownership over your book or the marketing content generated for it.
7. Professional Marketing Services
“Work With Our Team” connects you with our professional book marketing services, which are separate from the software subscription and may be governed by a separate agreement provided at the time of engagement.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies, and we make no guarantee of any specific marketing outcome, sales result, or audience growth. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookSpur is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
